Abstract

The textual boundaries of chapter 36 of the prophet Jeremiah are justified, followed by a presentation of a translation from the Hebrew text into Spanish and a narratological analysis from a synchronic perspective. From this analysis, the theological message of the chapter and the importance of the written word are derived.
