Abstract

The article proposes a path towards becoming human based on the thought of Xavier Zubiri. The author's philosophical system is briefly presented, starting from his conception of reality. The human person presented as someone who grasps reality through feeling and intellection, allows us to describe the moments of sentient intellection. It continues with the moment where logos and reason come into play. The article concludes with the proposal of the human person as a being who becomes in his or her relationship with others. This becoming has to lead to the humanizing act presented as taking charge of reality.
