Abstract

In our lay society, indifferent to faith and pluralistic, the Church is urged to offer Jesus and his Gospel examining and taking on board the signs of the times and their consequences. The Church must overcome a pastoral approach of conservation and maintenance for a missionary pastoral approach of a “Church that goes forth”, as expressed by Pope Francis. A missionary Church open to our contemporary world. This theme is presented guided by Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii gaudium.

Jesús Moreno Led, Universidad Católica Boliviana

Bachelor's degree in Theology from the Pontifical University of Comillas, Spain. He has been a theology lecturer for 20 years at the Regional Center for Theological Studies of Aragon and for 7 years at ISET, Universidad Católica Boliviana.
