Abstract

The greatest human desire, engraved by God in Creation, is for
transcendence. It aspires to overcome our limitations. The internet as
a human creation consolidates this dream, as it seeks to go beyond our
personal frontiers. It aims to break temporal and material limits in the
encounter with others, and to symbolically and sacramentally express
meaning in life and in the world. This reflection not only confirms
that the web is a place where Christian spiritual experience develops,
but also invites us to continue to reflect on its impact and possibilities
in spiritual theology.
