Abstract
In an increasingly connected world, faith too has found new paths to flourish. One of these paths—unexpected for some, but increasingly evident—is the so-called “digital continent.” In this context, this new issue of Yachay magazine challenges us with particular force. The articles explore innovative pastoral experiences, such as the Digital Synod, and propose an inculturation of the Gospel on social media, especially among young people who are distant from traditional ecclesial structures. The importance of a digitally grounded pastoral ministry—canonically supported and bearing a Samaritan face—is emphasized. The miscellanea section offers theological and biblical reflections on mission in digital networks, seen as spaces of spiritual thirst, encounter, and synodality. The issue concludes with a review of Gerhard Lohfink’s latest book, providing hermeneutical keys to fundamental biblical texts for the mission.
