The objective of this article is to present a brief analysis of lexical cohesion that explains how the concepts of knowledge, grace, and ecumenism articulate Saint Paul's message to the Ephesians. Therefore, it starts from a critical literary outline in order to understand how scholars study the Corpus Paulinum. For this we turn to classic authors such as Charles Gore or Senén Vidal, and to more recent texts such as those presented by Waldecir Gonzaga and David A. deSilva. The results show that knowledge, comprehension, and understanding are imperative actions that believers should practice in order to assimilate, receive and share the redeeming
