Abstract

Based on the analysis of the thought of Karl Otto Apel and Marciano Vidal, this article is divided into two parts: the first presents a view of communicative ethics from the perspective of language, while the second discusses a potential enrichment of communicative ethics by incorporating other aspects that could make it more suitable and effective in a multicultural and multiracial reality.

Author Biography

Józef Bunar, Universidad Católica Boliviana

Priest of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (CSsR), originally from Poland. Master's degree in theology from the Pontifical Academy of Theology, Krakow, and Ph.D. in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome. He has been living in Bolivia since 1992. He served as a teacher at the San Lorenzo Seminary in Santa Cruz de la Sierra from 2008 to 2014. He has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Theology San Pablo, Cochabamba, since 2016.
