Abstract

The article reflects on the contemporary political crisis and Hannah Arendt's interpretation of it, as a German thinker who questions the meaning of politics to understand freedom as a human reality. It is a philosophical analysis that seeks to comprehend the elements and conditions of the current political crisis, recognizing that this crisis is related to the existential and moral decline of Western civilization.

Author Biography

Oscar Gracia Landaeta, Universidad Católica Boliviana

Bachelor of Philosophy and Letters from the Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo" (2016), currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He is a researcher at the Research Laboratory in Communication and Humanities at the Universidad Privada Boliviana and a professor in the Communication program at that university (UPB). His areas of work include political philosophy, democratic institutional construction processes, and the role of identities in politics. Currently, he is also teaching in the Philosophy and Anthropology programs at the Universidad Católica Boliviana. He is a regular columnist for the newspaper Opinión (Cochabamba, Bolivia).
