God, Poetry, InvocationAbstract
Ramiro Montecinos presents his poem "God," accompanied by a very evocative painting. He acknowledges God in His creation, which invites him to praise. He paraphrases some of the Beatitudes. He laments the reality of people who forget about God and engage in all kinds of wrongdoings. The author demonstrates a particular sensitivity towards the suffering of the small and innocent. He acknowledges his own weaknesses and asks for forgiveness. Gratitude arises within him along with the desire to do good. He requests the grace of love for those who practice evil. He encapsulates his desires and feelings with the aspiration, "Let us bring divinity into humanity!"
