Call for papers. Yachay n°84

ou are invited to submit scientific articles for the next issue, preferably addressing the following theme from diverse perspectives, until June 30, 2026:

• “Emerging Religiosities and Spiritualities”

In recent years, both in rural areas, peri-urban zones, and metropolitan centers of Latin America, there has been a notable diversity of religious movements in their various denominations, along with the growth of media outlets that express these religiosities. Within this spectrum, new forms of confessional identities are emerging, rooted in hybrid spiritual tendencies, where Catholic, Evangelical, Eastern, and Indigenous elements, among others, converge. Among young people, there are those who identify as having “no religious affiliation,” yet pursue an unceasing search for meaning in today’s world.

Yachay Journal, a publication of the Faculty of Theology of San Pablo at the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo,” within the field of Philosophy, Theology, and Culture, invites reflections on this broad and diverse human expression of our times, approached from the perspectives of culture, philosophy, sociology of religion, and theological reflection. This theme will be the focus of Yachay No. 84.
