Ana de Ramá en Santa Vera Cruz: una alternativa a las narrativas sobre la mujer cochabambina

Las narrativas tradicionales sobre las mujeres de Cochabamba, Bolivia, parecen no promover condiciones de vida digna para las mujeres de esta región. En contraste, la narrativa de Ana de Ramá, en el texto bíblico y en las tradiciones derivadas, parece contener elementos que proyectan a esta mujer como alguien con libertad de acción, admirada y respetada. Es decir, unas condiciones que podrían resultar inspiradoras, si no interpeladoras. Sin embargo, estudios narratológicos llevan a pensar que la narrativa por sí misma no es efectiva, sino que para serlo depende de otro factor. En ese sentido, el presente artículo propone considerar que el factor más importante es un contexto propicio y que, para la historia de Ana de Ramá en Cochabamba, éste es la fiesta de Santa Vera Cruz Tatala.
